The day before my birthday

Last night, I thought my 25th birthday would be the worst. I thought I would describe it as my fucked up birthday. Well, I was wrong.

Before I went to sleep last night, TJ and I chatted on Facebook and I was so pissed off because he told me things he shouldn’t have said. It hurt me. After a while, he called me and told me to stop crying. I replied, “Why do you even care?” But he just said, “Basta. Tumahan ka na.” So I went to sleep with puffy eyes and prayed that this is all just a night mare.

This morning before 7 am, my mom woke me up and told me that a classmate of mine is waiting for me downstairs. Why would a classmate visit me at this early hour, I thought.  I had a hunch that it wasn’t a classmate. I went downstairs to check if my hunch is true. Yes, I’m right. It was him waiting for me at the living room with a beautiful bouquet of my favorite flower: pink roses. Remember this item on my whoisteejeigh blog?  ”23. There might be an instance that he will make you really mad on a Valentine’s Day but on the next day, he will appear right in front of your house with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.” It happened again.

He told me that it was planned, except the break-up. It was part of his plan to make me angry. He also told my family in advance about his surprise. I can not believe that they cooperated with him!

And so we talked about what happened during our break up. We didn’t talk about the root cause of this issue; we only discussed the effects of our actions. To be honest, that moment was surreal. I cried when he handed me the flowers. He asked me why I was crying. I had a hard time to explain to him my sudden outburst. I guess, I was just full of mixed emotions.

We talked, laughed, hugged and kissed. We both missed each other. At that moment, I just wanted the world to stop from turning. I was in cloud nine.

After we ate breakfast, we prepared lunch for my birthday’s celebration. We cooked and ate baked macaroni, pancit bijon, fried chicken and fruit salad with my whole family. Two hours after lunch time, we went to Araneta Coliseum to watch PBA live. It’s a treat from his dad and I was thrilled to go inside the Big Dome because it is my first time to watch it live.

The first game was B-Meg vs San Miguel. I cheered for James Yap (hahaha!) but I rooted for San Miguel because 3 of the players were from FEU. We’re fans of Ginebra but since they didn’t win for semi-finals, we rooted for another team.

In this game, San Miguel won! Huzzah!

During the break, we took pictures of ourselves.

If you see it, you’ll shit bricks. Hrhr. Just kidding! Boyfriend and I were surprised that the guy was included in my picture! So I had to take another! Hehe!

The next game was Talk n Text vs. Alaska. I met a new crush, his name is Cyrus Baguio from Alaska. Hihi!

After the game, he and his dad dropped me off at my house.

One thing that I will not forget about this day is when he told me about his plans for his future. I was flattered when he included me in his plans.

I really thank God for answering my prayer. I told Him that if he is really the guy for me, he will show up on this day; if he’s not, then He should help me to be strong and to accept that we aren’t meant to be. But… he showed up. :)

I don’t ask for any material things on my birthday (except that Nokia C3!! Haha!). All I wanted is to be happy. And I am glad, I got it the day before my birthday.
